BIRTHDAY PARTIES AT THE ZOO Happy Birthday to You!
At the Staten Island
Zoo come celebrate your birthday and have loads of
fun too! Children of all ages love BIRTHDAY PARTIES
at the Staten Island Zoo. Where else can you invite
REAL party animals to join in the festivities?
WHO'S INVITED?
Parties at the Staten Island Zoo are designed for
children who are turning 4 years of age and older,
with a maximum group size of 15 children and 4
adults. Along with your human guests, 2-3 live
animals will also be invited into your party room.
No need for introductions... by the end of your
party our instructors will make sure everyone is
well acquainted with their new scaly, feathery or
furry friends.
WHAT'S INCLUDED?
Each party lasts an hour and a half (two hours if
pizza is included) and includes an instructor, live
animal demonstration, game or story, and animal
craft. Each participant will receive a goodie bag to
take home for fun beyond the Zoo. In addition,
birthday invitations, with directions to the Staten
Island Zoo, will be given to you for distribution to
your guests.
BIRTHDAY PARTY THEMES
Chose from four different themes:
Animal Tracks
Discover different types of animal feet and their
purpose.
Come track some animals and then make a take-home
plaster mold.
African Savannah
Join the fun in exploring the mysteries of the
African Savannah.
Learn about favorite foods of the Savannah's
residents and make an animal mask to extend the fun.
Tropical Rainforest
Listen to the sounds of the jungle and search where
the animals live. Create a colorful rainforest bird.
Barnyard Friends
Stories, games, activities and crafts will all focus
on the differences between wild and domestic animals
- highlighting animals on the farm.
Make a pony bookmark to use at home.

Pizza, ice cream cake, juice and party (includes
cutlery, paper plates, cups and napkins) $370
members/$400 non-members
Party only $250 members/$275 non-members

weeks prior to the requested party to make a
reservation.
A contract form will be sent once you've booked a
specific date. Payment is due in advance to secure
your date. Birthday parties are held regardless of
the weather conditions (unless the Zoo is closed).
